PLC-Multipoint's transportation lighting
control panels are used to provide contrast lighting
for many interstate
freeway tunnels, bridges, decks
and lids.
Contrast control allows drivers to
safely adapt to tunnel lighting levels
during
the
different outside lighting conditions a day.
Systems hardware includes sensors,
controllers and
contactor panels.
Our software communicates with panel
displays and
supervisory computers.
Such communication
methods are Ethernet, Modbus
and SNP.
Media such as Copper or Fiber Optic for
multimode short distance or
single mode long
distance
can be applied. Strategy of topology such as
redundancy and rings approach
can be accomplish
according to the type of tunnel and its specification.
Our expertise is
demonstrated by the
number of D.O.T. agencies that have used our designs for their
specifications.
Features of transportation lighting controls include:
» Rugged microprocessor or multiple stage controller design.
» Luminance or Illuminance sensors in heated housings up to 4,000 ft. from controller.
» Adjustable input time delays, set points and deadband, hold ON and crossover timers.
» Front panel meters or operator interface
terminals.
» Industrial enclosures for NEMA 1, 3R, 4X and
12 environments.
» System integration of contactors, panel
boards and transfer switches.
» Program storage in battery RAM and EEPROM
during power transfer.

AC-PD
The AC-PD saves ballasts and electrical
components from excessive wear due to cycling when High Pressure
Sodium fixtures reach their end of life. One
controller fits many type of fixtures, from lamps sizes
of 70 watts to
750 watts and voltages
up through 347VAC and it is compatible with any ballast types. |

T3X-1
The LC3X system has the capacity for three independent setpoint adjustments and has
a fixed 10% deadband with a
Form C contact for each output. Other features include an adjustable
0 to 7 minute input time delay to
prevent intermittent controller switching and hold on timers to
prevent short cycling of high
intensity discharge lighting.
